Dr. Wyman Chen provides comprehensive emergency care with a focus on identifying the cause of the problem, relieving discomfort, and protecting the affected tooth whenever possible. His advanced education helps him evaluate urgent cases that may involve damaged teeth, infections, failed restorations, or the need for oral surgery.
Dr. Chen completed his undergraduate and dental education with honors at the University of Utah. He later pursued postgraduate training with world-renowned dentists and became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a designation the former practice website states is held by only 6% of dentists.
Because most procedures are offered in-house, patients may not need to visit several offices while dealing with an urgent dental problem. You can meet Dr. Wyman Chen and learn more about his approach to comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry.
A severe toothache or broken tooth can disrupt a commute, workday, school schedule, or weekend without warning. Our dentist in Renton is located at 1717 NE 44th Street, Suite A, near Exit 7, I-405, and the VMAC, providing a convenient point of care for patients traveling from Renton, Newcastle, South Bellevue, Mercer Island, and surrounding Eastside communities.
Our regular hours begin at 7:00 AM Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday visits are available by appointment, while emergency and after-care support is available 24/7. Calling first allows us to understand what happened and provide guidance based on the situation.

For suitable damaged teeth, our CEREC milling system can create a porcelain restoration in the office. This may allow Dr. Chen to scan, design, and place an applicable restoration during one appointment without using a temporary crown.
